Let's hope we stay connected
I want to fight for the longevity
of the warmth I feel when you are in
this tiny atmosphere
where the only thing that matters is
that you are close enough
close in such as way that
there is nothing between us except
the oxygen your hungry kisses breathe into me
as we do that thing we like to do
and keep this self-proclaimed cynic
secretly thinking... "perhaps."
